‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a human was stirring, except for a pug;
Her stocking was hung by the fire escape with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
Her daddies were nestled all snug in their bed;
While visions of peanut butter treats danced in Mamma’s head
Visions of peanut butter treats seem to be an all-year affair in Mamma Biscuit’s head but what she finds completely peculiar is just how warm it is outside today. Rain, rain and more rain followed by gusty winds (we love that drag queen by the way) and mild temperatures is not exactly the perfect formula for a Marshmallow World in the Winter nor the Christmas Eve anyone would dream of. To make matters worse, I didn’t have enough time this year to photograph Mamma Biscuit’s Christmas wonderland at the Pug Palace to unveil for you all today. I know, we feel terrible here leaving you with a metaphorical bag of coal on this glorious holiday but we promise to post something for you sometime next week because our tree and displays are the best yet. Hey, better late then never. It’s just so annoying how we’ve been without sunlight for so long and when there is no natural daylight pouring into Mamma’s crib, photographing anything indoors just looks horrendous. On the positive side to that, it is nice to have a really dark apartment during the day giving us the opportunity to keep the Christmas lights and tree twinkling nonstop.
So here’s hoping that wherever you are today, it feels like Winter and at best, looks like Winter! Here’s hoping that you enjoy a warm-filled holiday with family and friends—fury or human. May the food and wine be plenty and may you finally collapse on the sofa and enjoy a little rest and relaxation from all the hysteria involved with gift-giving and generally planning the perfect holiday. Have a glass or two of eggnog with a splash of vodka, go on, you deserve it!
Wishing everyone around the world a very Happy Holidays from your favorite toothless pug on the Internet.
Pug hugs and kisses!
Enjoy
