Take the “A” train Mamma!

Mamma Biscuit has become as urbane and metropolitan as any other pup who’s moved to the big, bad city in search of an adventure. This bitch is strictly an “A” train kind of gal—always running in and out of Harlem, Sugar Hill and Washington Heights—among many other neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs of New York City!

Here she is waiting patiently for her ride at 14th street and 8th Avenue in Chelsea (a gayborhood she frequents on a daily basis) and wondering where the hell is the express train! Luckily, Mamma has the luxury of waiting in the comfort of of her Lacoste bag.

Uncurl your tail Biscuit Lady, put on your head phones and spin some Duke Ellington and get ready to take the A train. Hurry, hurry, hurry Mamma, take the A train, the quickest way to Harlem.

Have a nice trip!
xoxo

Fatso!

Here is Mamma Biscuit breaking and entering a property on Commercial Street in Provincetown during the off season. Our Lady of Biscuits loves to exercise her canine instincts of smell and this junk yard/front lawn was just ripe for her relentless nose. Mamma became especially attached to this old, rusty, cast iron stove so it was only fitting for an impromptu photoshoot before the owner of the home came out to inquire why we were there in the first place! We promise that Mamma’s self-esteem is still intact despite the label on this stove—we love her no matter what size she may be!

XOXO

Happy Birthday Daddy John!

My Daddies are still asleep and I have just slipped out of bed to post this birthday surprise for Daddy John. He’s the taller one who often spoons me at night in bed while I’m facing Daddy Tommy! I want to wish him a very happy birthday and to thank both of them for bringing me here to New York City to live with them! They are wonderful parents, although the big lug can give me a few more treats at night when he comes home from work—the shorter fella is easier to work over—boy do I love when he’s chopping veggies for a stir fry, I just plant myself at his feet in the kitchen and I can get all the snacks I want! That reminds me, before I get back into bed, I should see if I can leap up into the cabinet to get my tongue on a soft chew treat. They’ll never know. On another note, these boys need to bring me to the groomers to get my nails trimmed ASAP, it’s hard for a pug to type with nails this long. Wait a minute, are they trying to give me the “Jersey” look—oh goodness, I hope not!

Happy Birthday

Snort, Snort, Love you always,
Mamma Biscuit

Our hearts go out to Japan

The Biscuits are shocked and saddened to hear about the 8.9 magnitude earthquake to hit the east coast of Honshu at 2:46 pm local time today—about 6 miles below sea level and 78 miles off the east coast of Japan—it also shook buildings violently in Tokyo for several minutes and sent millions of people fleeing for higher ground. It’s been noted that this earthquake is the biggest to hit Japan in 140 years and was swiftly followed by five powerful aftershocks of up to 7.1 magnitude—all creating several tsunamis with major destruction power. Our hearts and thoughts are with those who have lost their lives and their families (a death toll that keeps rising), their homes, their farmland and animals from the massive tsunami caused by this earthquake. We are also sending our thoughts and concern to the people of Russia, Marcus Island, the Northern Marianas, Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hawaii and the entire western coast of the US and Canada, from the Mexican border to Chignik Bay in Alaska who are all under a tsunami watch.

In a violent world of natural disasters as well as man-made destruction and ever changing, odd weather patterns, Mamma Biscuit and family hope to at least put a smile on your face, some laughter in your heart and a little sunshine and happiness to your day with our silly blog! Hug your loved ones and be thankful for what you have because Life can all be gone tomorrow!
