Stoopsitter

There is no better way to greet Spring than to bask in the afternoon sunlight while sitting on a stoop of a brownstone in Chelsea, NYC. Here is Mamma Biscuit doing just that while channeling her inner Pearl from 227. Forget an open, ground-level window, Mamma would rather perch herself on a set of grand steps like these to observe all of the neighborhood activities.

From this vantage point, Mamma could clearly see if Calvin were carousing with his neighborhood buddies in the middle of the street or if he was making out with Brenda leaning against a parked car. To be honest, Mamma could care less about Calvin or Brenda, the only thing that was on her mind was the possibility of finding something edible on those steps before the owner of the home came out to inquire why she was there in the first place.

Luckily, we got away with these snapshots while giving our little girl a better view and sniff of the nearby yellow cornelian cherry dogwood bush behind that banister.

Happy Spring
